839. GREEN B. RAUM (1829-1909) Union brigadier general who led a bayonet charge at Corinth, was wounded at Missionary Ridge, and covered Sherman at Atlanta. War-date A.D.S., 1p. 8vo., Resaca, [1864], in pencil, the text of a telegram reading in full: "Genl. Steadman will move at 6 o'clock this AM with 1800 men and 3 pieces of artillery. G. B. Raum". Wrinkles, one corner lost and text light in places, else good. $150-200
