Superb S.P. 7 3/4" x 10" b/w, a serious close-up portrait, inscribed "To Miss Emma M. Schaab " and signed in full in upper margin, adding "1923 " and an emphatic underline. Signature is dark with fine contrast but inscription line above is legible but considerably lighter. Mounted, light crackling clear of image area, otherwise very good. $600-800
