Description:

Lot of five war-date partial combat reports, each 1p., varying sizes, [n.p., n.d.], from seven obscure RFC pilots, who each sign below their account. The pilots detail attacks on enemy planes and give the results of those attacks, all being successful. In part: ‘...I attacked one of a formation of 7 E.A., and followed him from about 1200 to 200 firing continual bursts into him. At about 1000 he went into a steep dive and crashed near Quaremont...He flew directly towards me firing. I opened fire at 60 yards range, and he did a sharp bank to the right, stalled, fell over on his side and went down vertically...the machines were all lost sight of in the mist...My observer fired three drums into one of the other two E.A., this machine turned completely over and was seen by both my Observer ad myself completely out of control...My tracers appeared to go into his engine. The E.A. nose dived about 1000 feet, then glided straight down...' Conditions vary, overall very good.
