Pitkin Clerk", 1p. oblong 8vo., [n.p.], Feb. 1783, being a pay voucher: "...Please to pay out of the public Treasury to... the sum of Nine Shillings... for their Several Travels to the Superior Court at New Haven..." Cross-signed through Pitkin's signature by Revolutionary War Colonel JEDEDIAH HUNTINGTON. Very dark ink, small hole affecting both signatures, folds, otherwise very good. $100-150
