PIERRE-JOSEPH CAMBON
(1756 - 1820) French statesman. Renounced Jean-Paul Marat's placards as inciting to murder, summoned Georges Danton to give an account of his ministry, and supervised the furnishing of military supplies to the French Revolutionary Army. A devoted enemy of Robespierre. Partly-printed D.S., 1p. legal folio, Paris, ca. May 1, 1792, an extract from the proceedings of the National Assembly asking the Secretary of the Treasury for records concerning promissory notes. Also signed by La Cepede, Rougier, Fressenel and Merlet. Very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas), DHL or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
