595. CHARLES PICHEGRU (1761 - 1804) General in the French Revolution and Napoleonic wars, involved in Cadoudal plot against Napoleon in 1803, and was murdered while awaiting trial in prison. A.L.S. 1p. 4to., Paris, Nov. 15, 1797, to General Suaria, in French. Not translated, but evidently forwarding a request to the appropriate minister whom he has been pressing for over a month. Mounting traces at top and bottom left corners, otherwise very good. With a portrait engraving. $150 - 200
