EDITH PIAF (1915-1963) French chanteuse who was discovered by a cabaret owner singing in the streets and later became an international favorite with her songs "La Vie en rose" and Les trois cloches". Fine vintage I.S.P. 8" x 10" b/w, a classic image showing Piaf smiling broadly, surrounded by a bevy of young men. Inscribed in French on blank mount beneath image to Anthony Zylstra, son-in-law if Nicholas, Grand Duke of Russia. Signature and inscription are faded, should be viewed, but a stunning image nonetheless. Simply framed, and unexamined out of frame. $200-300
