PHINEAS T. BARNUM
(1810 - 1891) American showman who opened his circus, "The Greatest Show On Earth", merged with James Bailey to form Barnum and Bailey Circus. Good content A.L.S. "P. T. Barnum" 1p. 8vo. on elaborate "Barnum's American Museum" letterhead listing in great detail the various curiosities to be found there, New York, Feb. 5, 1861 to "Mr Lloyd" informing him that "Mr. Greenwood has made all the proper arrangements about free tickets with Mr. Hinchman." Usual folds, else fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
