Served as commander of the Convention Army when Burgoyne was paroled and was noted for his tremendous arrogance. Scarce manuscript D.S. 1p. extreme oblong folio, Cambridge, June 19, 1770, a receipt for Provisions to be delivered to a Major Morrison, in the mount of 4453£. Folds, light foxing, otherwise very good condition. $400-600.
