(1293 - 1350) King of France, first king of the house of Valois, his disputes with Henry III of England led to the start of the Hundred Years' War, lost Crecy and Calais to the English. A scarce document from his reign (not signed), 1p. oblong 8vo., [n.p.], 1330, on parchment in Latin regarding a part of a vineyard in the territory of Del Campinas. Very neatly penned in a fine calligraphy, and signed with a handsome cartouche. Very good.
