PHILIP OF HESSE-KASSEL
(1896 - 1980) Prince of the House of Hesse-Kassel and Nazi politician used to negotiate with Mussolini. Upon the latter's fall from power, Philip's father, Philip, and his wife were arrested and were variously interned at Buchenwald, Flosseburg and Dachau. Ornate, hand-painted and calligraphied award certificate to a member of the Hitler Youth, 1p. folio, Kassel, May 1, 1938, boldly signed at bottom. Mounted, toned, with margins chipped at places and internal tears - still quite good.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
