In fine condition. Also present are a pair of 12" x 9 ¼" Thiokol presentation plaques, each featuring a color image of a Thiokol rocket component, with a trademark plaque below. Both show slight scuffs, else very good. From the estate of M. David Rosenberg, a chemical engineer within Thiokol's Elkton division, who contributed to the development of solid-fuel rocket engines utilized in many American missile systems, and who managed the production of the Peacekeeper Hot Gas Generator. Such gas generators were used during a "cold launch" of the missile, propelling it out of its launch tube before the main engines were fired.
