"Paul Revere" 1p. vellum, oblong folio, Boston, Sept. 3, 1800, a Masonic document certifying Moses Ward as a third degree Mason. The document bears a fine engraving, likely undertaken by Revere, replete with the usual Masonic images and with a red ribbon threaded into the upper left corner. Usual folds, otherwise in very good condition. Matted and framed with a color image of Revere. This is the only such Revere-Masonic item we have encountered. Not examined out of frame.
