OTTO MEISSNER EPHEMERA GROUPING
OTTO MEISSNER (1880 - 1953) Nazi Nuremburg defendant who served as Reichsminister and Minister of the Presidential Chancellery. Good lot of 15 pieces of ephemera relating to German Reichsminister Otto Meissner, includes: A.L. (unsigned), 1p. 8vo., [n.p.,] July 1, 1932[?], to OSWALD VON HOYNINGEN-HUENE, German Ambassador to Portugal from 1934 to 1944 who served alongside Meissner on Paul von Hindenburg's staff, written in pencil on the back of a calendar page, untranslated, fine; a telegram from Meissner, 1p. 8vo., 1938, Berlin, thanking 'Baron Huene' for his congratulations, fine; and 13 clippings, mostly newspaper clippings in German, one showcasing Hitler congratulating Meissner on his birthday and another concerning his award of the Gold Party Badge. Fine.
