(1815 - 1867) King of Greece unpopular throughout his reign because of his religion, taxation, and use of German officials, forced by insurrection to grant a constitution, deposed in 1862. Manuscript L.S. in French1p. legal folio, Athens, Apr. 14, 1843, to Ferdinand II, King of Two Sicilies acknowledging receipt of his letter containing the joyous news that his wife, Maria Theresa of Austria, had given birth to a princess (Maria Annunziata). Otto sends his felicitations and prayers for the well-being of the family. Near fine condition, with original envelope.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
