T.L.S. on his official SS-Gruppenfuhrer letterhead, 1p. legal folio, Berlin, Dec. 18, 1942, to Richard Hildebrant, General of the Police, regarding Officer Aust, an SS-Hauptsrumfuhrer in The Hague. In part: "...Regarding your letter of 4.12.42...I regret that I am able to procure neither the clock desired, nor a similar one...Mr. Keuchenius has demand...Our attempt in other shops for something like this...were unfortunately also in vain...I will still attempt to find one...". Boldly signed at conclusion. File holes to left, receiving stamp at top right, very good condition.
