ORIGINAL WORLD WAR I U.S. ARMY PHOTOGRAPHS (35)
Wonderful lot of 35 photographs, all approx. 4.25 x 3.25 in. b/w, depicting U.S. soldiers during the fighting in the Argonne from Sep. 26th-Oct. 2nd, 1918. Accompanying the photos is a typed description with a line at the bottom designating the photographer as 1st Lt. C.L. Fuller of the 110th Military Police 35th Division. Images depict: American artillery, U.S.S. Rumpler, the wiring of communication trenches, bombed buildings, live explosion of a German timed mine in Cambria, mess at a U.S. camp, captured German artillery, Marshal Ferdinand Foch and General John Pershing, shots of French trench mortars in action, the bodies and bones of killed soldiers, Red Cross dogs in trenches, burying the dead, the cemetery at Romagne-Vosges, etc. A fine collection of World War I action shots from the most remembered offensive in American military history.

Due to complications from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will ship with USPS Priority Mail only if the buyer submits their request to us in writing and accepts responsibility for delayed shipments. Signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
