Description:

OMAR BRADLEY
(1893-1981) American general of World War II who commanded the largest ground force ever led by one man. He was later Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Fine association partly-printed D.S. 1p. oblong 12mo., a check dated Jan. 4, 1952 drawn on the First National Bank, Highland Falls, N.Y. and ordering a payment of $800.00 to Chester W. Clifton. Clifton (1913-1991) was Bradley's personal assistant and later military aide to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. Boldly engrossed and signed. Stamp cancel at middle clear of signature, very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
