In full: "Kendler is said to have been close to the Social Democrats and then approached the VF ["Vaterlandische Front"], the ruling political party in Austria prior to the Anschluss]. At the VF he led the various raffles in Vienna and in the provinces and was given a car for this purpose. At the constitutional celebration planned by [Austrian Chancellor Engelbert] Dollfuss on May 1, 1934, a great sensation was provoked over his cause at the residence. Furthermore, it was found that Kendler in the party [NSDAP] court of district III for admission to the party, a process is pending and that material previously available to the commission about Kendler offers no precise information about his political attitude. However, he does not enjoy the best reputation due to his previous position in national circles." Globocnik signs boldly at the conclusion in black ink.
