703. NUREMBURG TRIAL DEFENDANTS SIGNED MILITARY OCCUPATION NOTE A rare series 1944 banknote issued for use in Germany, signed in 1946 by nine defendants in the Nuremberg trial of 1945-6. Signatories include, on recto: BARON CONSTANTIN VON NEURETH, ALFRED JODL, ALBERT SPEER, WILHELM KEITEL, and HERMAN GOERING. On verso: ERICH RAEDER, JOACHIM VON RIBBENTROP, FRITZ SAUKEL and WALTHER FUNK. Folds through von Ribbentrop and Funk's signatures, slight chipping to right corner and one pinhole at center, overall very good condition. This item was secured by 18-year-old Emilio di Palma, who was the youngest guard supervising the defendants at trial.1,500 - 2,000
