Description:

NUREMBERG PRISONER AUTOGRAPH AND PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM
One of the finest Nuremberg prisoner items we''ve seen, a photograph and autograph album assembled by an American intelligence officer involved in the processing of some of the most important German war criminals. There are approximately 80 pieces in the album, including many photos, some of which show the prisoner with his prisoner number at the time of arrest or reception at the facility. In addition, the album owner has added artistic stenciled swastikas throughout the album and German medal ribbons to the cover. Except where indicated otherwise, the prisoner has either handwritten or simply signed an attestation that the signature applied to the document is his own. In addition to 19 of the 21 major war criminals, there are dozens of other rarer, equally desirable names present. It is especially interesting to note that these signatures predate the Nuremberg Trials, most having been obtained in the fall of 1945. Included are, in order of appearance: Bulgarian Minister BELINOFF, JOHANNES BLASKOWITZ (w/photo), WERNER VON BLOMBERG (w/photo), ERNST BOEPPLE (w/photo), WERNER VON BRAUTSCHITSCH (w/photo), LEONARDO CONTI, MARYSZ CSESLAVA (w/photo), MILAN DESOVIC, KARL DONITZ (w/photo), FRANZ VON EPP (w/photo), ALEXANDER VON FALKENHAUSEN, HANS FRANK (w/photo), WILHELM FRICK (w/photo), HANS FRITSCHE (w/photo), WALTHER FUNK (w/photo), ION GHEORGHE (w/photo), HERMANN GORING (w/photo), HELMUTH GREINER (w/photo), HEINZ GUDERIAN (w/photo), FRANZ HALDER (w/photo), HANS KARL VON HASSELBACH (w/photo), PAUL HAUSSER (w/photo), RUDOLF HESS (w/photo), HEINRICH HIMMLER (w/photo, 1941), NIKOLAUS HORTHY (w/photo), ALFRED JODL (w/photo), ERNST KALTENBRUNNER (two examples, w/photo), WILHELM KEITEL (rare full signature, w/photo), ERICH KEMPKA (w/photo), ALBERT KESSELRING (w/photo), ROBERT LEY (w/photo), JOACHIM LIETZMANN (w/photo), KARL LINDEMANN (portion of an A.D.S. discussing "O" who traveled Africa "at the head of hundreds of niggers"), FRITZ BENICKE and PAUL LINDEMANN on a 1942 document, MARCEL LUCHESY (w/photo), OTTO MEISSNER (w/photo), WILLY MESSERSCHMITT (w/photo), the wife, son and two daughters of BENITO MUSSOLINI (w/photo), HERMANN NEUBACHER (w/photo), CONSTANTIN VON NEURATH, HANNS OBERLINDOBER (w/photo), FRANZ VON PAPEN (w/photo), ERICH RAEDER (rare full signature, with photo), HANNA REITSCH (w/photo), with signed magazine photo and signed sheet as well, ALFRED ROSENBERG (w/photo), JOACHIM VON RIBBENTROP (w/photo), JUTTA RUEDIGER (w/photo), FRITZ SAUCKEL (w/photo), BALDUR VON SCHIRACH (w/photo), FREIHERR GRAF VON SCHWERIN (w/photo), GRAF LUTZ SCHWERIN KROSIGK (w/photo), MAX SESSELMANN, ARTUR SEYSS-INQUART, OTTO SKORZENY (w/photo), HUGO SPERRLE (w/photo), JULIUS STREICHER (w/photo), FRITZ THYSSEN (w/photo), EDMUND VEESEMAYER (w/photo), LASZLO VOESCONDY (w/photo), WALTER WARLIMONT (w/photo), MAXIMILIAN VON WEICHS (w/photo), OTTO WINKELMANN (w/photo), ILIA ZLATAREFF, and signatures of NIKOLAUS CRISOMALI, ADOLF GALLAND, KURT ASSMANN, GERHARD VON SCHWERIN, and a few others unidentified by us.
