Large grouping of NSDAP stationary, housed within an official-looking 'Verwaltung Obersalzberg' ('Administration of Obersalzburg') folder, the back cover of which bears an affixed 'BERGHOF' stamp. The lot includes 11 pieces of unused stationary, and two blank envelopes, including an 8vo. piece of 'Volksbund fur das Deutschtum im Ausland' ('Association for German Cultural Relations Abroad') letterhead; an 8vo. piece of 'Kanzlei des Fuhrers der NSDAP' ('Hitler's Chancellery') letterhead; an 8vo. piece of 'Der Leiter der Partei-Kanzlei' ('the Head of the Party Office') letterhead; a 4to. piece of 'Adolf Hitler' letterhead, with space for a file number beneath; four pieces of 8vo. 'Reichsleiter Martin Bormann' letterhead; two envelopes belonging to Martin Bormann, one marked 'Reichsleiter Martin Bormann...Berlin' on the flap, the other marked 'Der Sekretar des Fuhrers...Reichsleiter Martin Bormann...Munchen' on the flap; an 8vo. piece of 'Der Reichsmarschall des Grossdeutschen Reiches' ('The Reich Marshal of the Greater German Empire'); an 8vo. piece of NSDAP letterhead, bearing the subheadings 'Gauleitung Thuringen' and 'Gauschulungsburg Egendorf' ('Egendorf training school'); and a 4to. piece of NSDAP letterhead from the Cologne-Aachen administrative district. In addition, the lot includes a letter from an Allied Staff Sergeant 'Jimmie' to his mother, 1p. 4to., Hutte, Austria, June 1945, uniquely written on captured 'Adolf Hitler' stationary. Some pages slightly cockled, else very good condition overall.

Shipping

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, FedEx and DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipments after receipt of payment due to the high volume of packages being shipped.
