George Murphy thanking the senator for a telegram sent upon Nixon's re-election the previous November 7th. He adds: "...Over the next four years I shall do everything I possibly can to make the kind of record which all Americans, regardless of party, can look back on with pride as we celebrate America's 200th Birthday on 1976..."
