WITH: EDGAR RYLL (b. 1903) Personnel Officer of Wehrkreis XVIII who, after the office receiving teleprints stating 'The Fuhrer is dead' after the July 20th bomb plot, first heard that a mutiny occurred in Berlin and that all messages from that district were not to be obeyed. Sold with a printed signature from EDUARD WAGNER (1894 - 1944), German general, Quartermaster General of the German army and a participant in the July 20 bomb plot on Hitler's life.
