NAZI-OCCUPIED CZECHOSLOVAKIA DEATH SENTENCE ANNOUNCEMENT
Rare broadside poster made of red-colored, very thin paper, Prague, June, 1942, 20" x 25", "Death By Firing Squad", announcing the shooting deaths of four men connected to the assassination of SS General and "Protector" of Czechoslovakia Reinhard Heydrich. Czech partisans trained by Britain's Special Operations Executive mortally wounded Heydrich in Prague on May 27, 1942, assaulting his automobile. The broadside notes the Summary Court Marital of Prague has sentenced Siba Ladislav, Fousek Karel, Kosal Josef, and Krupicka Frantisek to death by shooting on June 20 and 22, 1942, for their connections to the assassins. Evidence of pinholes, minor folds along bottom and left margin, very good.
