NAVAL DECK GUN DESK MODELS
Good lot of four desk models, two brass and two steel, representing United States naval deck guns, includes: Cast steel model of a 5-inch gun, 4" x 4"dia., with an 8 1/2" barrel, in an articulated mount allowing the gun to elevate and traverse, marked on the breech with an anchor and the inscription: "5in Gun, Washington, D.C., 1899". The polished finish bears some slight oxidation, else very good. WITH: Cast steel model of an unidentified gun, approx. 3" x 2 3/4" dia., with a 4" barrel, in an articulated mount allowing the gun to elevate. The gun shield bears the inscription: "U.S. May 20 1909, Watervliet Arsenal". The gun featured a removable breech-block, missing in this example. The model bears minor oxidation, with some flaking of the chrome plating on the reverse of the gun shield, else very good. WITH: Brass model of an unidentified gun, approx. 5" x 2 3/4" dia., with a 7" barrel, in an articulated pintle mount, allowing the gun to elevate and traverse. The model appears to feature an articulated falling breech-block, although the controls for this are missing, else very good. WITH: Brass model of an unidentified gun, approx. 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" dia., with a 10" barrel, mounted on a wood base. The model is fitted with an articulated interrupted-screw breech-block, and gear allowing it to be elevated and traversed, although the elevation gear is partially absent. Very good.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made.
