WITH: ARMAND CHARLES GUILLEMINOT (1774-1840) French general, Chief of Staff to Jerome Bonaparte at Waterloo. Partly-printed D.S. ‘C. Guilleminot' 1p. legal folio, Paris, March 31, 1824, to the Marquis de Foresta. Guilleminot refers to lists of officers in the Royal Corps of Geographical and Military Engineers, who that year would be sent to the Department of Finistere from April 1 to November 1. He requests that the Marquis see to their protection. WITH: NICOLAS JOSEPH MAISON (1771-1840) Loyalist Marshal of France and Minister of War. Manuscript D.S. ‘Cte Maison' 1p. legal folio, Paris, July 14, 1814, concerning the appointment of a lieutenant. Very good, offered with a portrait engraving. Three pieces.
