Among his 33 awards and decorations was the Medal of Honor, also received every decoration for valor that his country had to offer, some of them more than once, including five decorations from France and Belgium. Credited with killing over 240 of the enemy while wounding and capturing many others. Superb vintage I.S.P., 8" x 10", b/w, a smiling head and shoulders portrait inscribed in the upper left "To Estella Sincerely Audie Murphy", in green ink. Fine. $200 - 300
