Description:

"MOVIE MASKS OF TEN FAMOUS COMEDY STARS"
A cute item, a paper booklet measuring 12 1/2" x 10 1/2", published in 1931 by Whitman Publishing Co of Racine, Wisconsin, and containing within 10 paper masks of some of comedy's greats of the era. These quirky masks, printed in red and black, were meant to be punched out and worn by hooking them behind the ears. The stars within include Charlie Chaplin, Jack Oakie, Joe E. Brown, Harold Lloyd (missing), Laurel and Hardy, Marie Dressler, Ben Turpin and more. Many masks are partially punched out from their sheets and some are missing the punched out areas within the ears. Oakie has a torn ear, otherwise in very good condition. Certainly unique!
