MEDAL OF HONOR WINNERS A good collection of eight pieces, signed by late nineteenth and early twentieth century recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor. Included is one of the more controversial recipients, 2nd. Lt. HARRY L. HAWTHORNE(cited for his conduct at Wounded Knee Creek, 1890), his signature adding rank as Captain of the 6th Artillery on a blank payroll form. Offered together with Civil War Admiral DAVID D. PORTER (2 signed checks), RICHARD P. HOBSON (signature on a small slip, 1933), ROBERT DUNLAP (signature on a postcard from Paris Island), EDWARD OSTERMAN, (M.O.H. for Haitian campaign, 1915, 2 signed checks), CHARLES W. RAY(M.O.H. for Philippine campaign, 2 signed checks). Overall very good condition. $200-300
