S. 1p. 4to., June 20, 1934 to Gladys Rogers. In his artistic hand, Parrish writes, in part: "...I am dreadfully afraid people are coming here. It's grand to have an elevator as an excuse, and put to other uses than the ups and downs of life. If people are going to prevent me from seeing an elevator, I don't see why an elevator cannot prevent me from seeing people. I must puzzle that out, and may be the elevator can be made to win...." With transmittal envelope in his hand. Slight glue residue on margins of verso barely shows through, not affecting text. A pretty letter.
