(d. 1925) German military pilot, an ace credited with five victories. Vintage signed German postcard photograph of Zander standing in a three quarter length pose wearing his uniform and medals. Published by Willi Sanke of Berlin during World War I, numbered 407 and with a printed caption at the head and base. Signed in bold black fountain pen ink to a clear area of the image, adding his rank in his hand beneath his signature. Further signed by Zander to the verso in bold purple indelible pencil, also providing his address at Feldpoststation 292. With a Jagdstaffelschule postal cancellation. Fine.
