Description:

Mark Knopfler Signed Acoustic Guitar
As leader of Dire Straits, Knopfler's distinctive fingerstyle guitar work was heard on such hits as "Sultans of Swing", "Money for Nothing" and "Walk Of Life", while the band racked up worldwide record sales of 120 million (to date). Knopfler's body of solo work includes forays into country music, where he has won three Grammy awards in collaboration with legendary Nashville guitarist/producer Chet Atkins. This spruce-top, Martin DX-1 acoustic guitar was signed in black felt tip by Knopfler during a visit to Warner Brothers offices in Los Angeles after the release of his first solo album in 1996. The brand new guitar comes in a custom Martin hard plush case. LOA
