SOLD WITH: an attached, associated order signed by Admiral JOHN H. TOWERS (1885-1955), a pioneering naval aviator who planned and led the first air crossing of the Atlantic and during World War II was Commander, Air Force, Pacific Fleet. Towers supervised the development, organization, training, and supply of the Fleet's growing aviation capability, and helped develop the strategy which destroyed the Japanese fleet. He signs and order to the same ensign ordering him to report to the commander of Air Fleet Two. With several other related documents. Fine.
