1872. CHARLES MANSON (b.1934) Drifter whose "family" committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. So far has eluded the gas chamber. Rare, original self-portrait, 11" x 14", a menacing close-up executed in blue marker and black ballpoint, signed "Charles Mac Manson" with his typical addition of a swastika across his forehead. Fine. Manson often adds "Mac" in his signature as a satirical commentary on his commercialization, a la "MacDonalds". $800 - 1,200
