Description:

Lynyrd Skynyrd/Artimus Pyle Handwritten Lyric Fragments (2)
Written on individual sheets of music tablature paper by the group's drummer, Artimus Pyle, we offer lyric fragments to Lynyrd Skynyrd's two most popular songs, "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Free Bird." Both songs continue to be classic rock radio staples more than thirty years after they were recorded by the southern rockers. Pyle has written the title along the top of each, signed the bottom and added "Drums...Lynyrd Skynyrd" in addition to adding "RVZ" as an acknowledgement to the song's writer and co-founder, the late Ronnie Van Zandt (killed in a plane crash in 1977 along with fellow band members Steve and Cassie Gaines.) Executed in blue ballpoint pen, the 9" x 12.5" sheets come with a LOA and unused backstage pass. Notarized consignor's LOA, MT.
