LYNDON B. JOHNSON
(1908-1973) Thirty-sixth President of the United States and creator of the "Great Society" social welfare programs. America's growing involvement in Vietnam led to his declining a re-nomination as president. His signature as Vice President on a U.S. Senate admission card to "The Vice President's Gallery." Offered together with Johnson's business card as Vice President with matching envelope; a thank you card for a Christmas gift bearing Lyndon and Lady Birds' printed signatures; and a T.L.S. from one of Johnson's assistants, 1p. 4to., Washington Feb. 10, 1965 declining an autograph request. Together five pieces in fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
