Description: LOUIS PASTEUR
(1822 - 1895) French chemist and biologist who developed antibodies for rabies and anthrax and disproved theories of spontaneous generation. A.N.S. signed with initials "LP" on verso, penciled on his printed calling card, in full: "With a thousand thanks RSVP R.S.V.P." and adding on verso: "Received of M. Chereau on July 9, 1878 the April 1878 issue of the Quarterly Journal of Miscrosc. Sci. L.P.". Light wear and foxing, very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
