794. CHARLES A. LINDBERGH (1902 - 1974) American aviator who, in his "Spirit of St. Louis", was the first to fly solo non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean. Signed booklet "Seating List Dinner of the Woodrow Wilson Foundation in Honor of Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh", 22pp. 8vo., New York, Mar. 19, 1928, a list of seating arrangements for hundreds of influential guests at a dinner honoring Lindy a year after his famous flight, boldly signed in dark pencil on the cover beneath an inscription in another hand. Light foxing, else very good. The Woodrow Wilson Foundation was an organization formed in 1922 in New York City for the "perpetuation of Wilson's ideals" through research grants and publications. $400 - 500
