LINCOLN DEATH BED ALBUMEN
A fine ca. 1866 albumen photograph, 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" (sight), published by J. H. Littlefield from a photograph by John Goldin, entitled: "Death-Bed of Lincoln, April 15, 1865". As Lincoln lies dying, he is surrounded by many of Washington's most famous men, including Surgeon Gen. Barnes, Robert Todd Lincoln, Vice President Johnson, Secretary of the Navy Gideon Welles, Gen. Henry Halleck and Mary Lincoln, among others. Each person shown is named in print in the lower mount. Framed in original walnut frame. Minor damp stain effect some names, else very good.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arrange through the auction house.
