"LIBERTY LOAN" BUTTONS
Good group of seven pinback buttons, each approx. 3/4" dia., all advertising American "Liberty Loan" war bond drives during World War I. Includes: "Liberty Loan of 1917", with an image of the Statue of Liberty with the additional slogan "Get Behind the Government", stamped inside the reverse with the mark of a New York maker; "I Own A Liberty Bond", with an image of the Statue of Liberty, marked inside the reverse as being manufactured by the Ehrman company of Malden, Massachusetts; "Third Liberty Loan", with an image of the Liberty Bell, with a paper insert inside the reverse identifying the manufacturer as "Manee Co." of Malden; "Fourth Liberty Loan", with an image of a "Liberty Loan" flag with four vertical blue stripes, marked inside the reverse as being manufactured by the Animate Toy Co. of New York; "A Subscriber to the 4th Liberty Loan" with an image of an American eagle, with a paper insert inside the reverse identifying the manufacturer as the Whitehead & Hoag Co. of Newark, New Jersey; "War Savings Service - W.S.S.", with an image of the torch of the Statue of Liberty at center, marked inside the reverse as being manufactured by the American Art Works of Coshocton, Ohio; and "I Have Bought a Liberty Bond - Have You?", on a white background, with no manufacturer''s information. All are very good. Seven pieces.

Shipping

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipments after receipt of payment due to the high volume of packages being shipped.
