(1902 - 1996) Nazi official and politician, Secretary in the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, a close confidante of Goebbels who introduced policies for the identification of Jews in Germany. Fine association A.L.S. on his official letterhead, 2pp. 4to., Berlin, Oct. 29, 1943 to Minister of Propaganda JOSEPH GOEBBELS. In part: "...this is a serious and difficult year in which you celebrate your birthday...a year in which you...contributed greatly to the war effort...it is custom on such a day to take account, to see if you really lived, to see if you did the best you could. You did and you can be proud and satisfied about the past year...you were a good example to all your employees...you assured us and you aroused us...". File holes at left, else very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
