Nice content T.L.S. on letterhead of the New York Philharmonic, 1p. 4to., New York, Feb. 10, 1965, to Sister Mary Linus of the San Luis Rey Academy in California. In part: "...I am delighted to hear of your work as a professor of American history at San Luis Rey Academy, and I particularly wish to commend your attitude in getting your students to realize that people in history books were living, dynamic people who influenced the civilization in which they lived...". Handsomely matted with the cover of a CD recording of Bernstein's interpretation of Mahler and set into a carved wood frame. Fine condition.
