The double-breasted cotton jacket bears two rows of four silver pebbled buttons at front, with two chest pockets with scalloped pockets bearing matching buttons. Within, split rings secure the buttons to the garment, and two interior buttons are also fitted. Slip-on shoulder boards are affixed with the same pebbled buttons, and they are constructed of black felt on a gray backing, piped in white. Collar tabs include the standard black tab and an embroidered SS tab, and the jacket's left shoulder bears an embroidered national eagle with swastika. Unique to this type of uniform is the fact that all of the insignia are easily removed, most bearing snaps, allowing the jacket to be laundered without affecting the insignia. A dark maker's stamp within reads: "BETR. DA. 1943 46-75". In excellent condition, with publications and copies of photos of L.A.H. men in similar jackets. Hitler's household orderlies, personally selected by Sepp Dietrich, were trained at a butler school in Pasing. They wore these jackets with black trousers, and were subject to Hitler's constant approval.
