(1873-1961) Prolific American inventor, most notably of the Audion that would eventually bring sound to motion pictures. T.L.S. 1p. 4to., Los Angeles, Dec. 1, 1950, on letterhead of his company, United Engineering Laboratories, to Carl Haverlin of Broadcast Music in New York. In part: "...It was nice to hear from you...Your book arrived and I at once autographed it...Why didn't you rather send me for autographing a copy of my Autobiography, Father of Radio, which was issued on my birthday last August?...". Boldly signed "Lee" in blue fountain ink, fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry.
