Includes: numerous pamphlets and brochures, each approx. 4pp. 8vo. and smaller, bearing titles such as "Ideals of the Ku Klux Klan, "Americans, Take Heed!", "The Jewish Problem in the United States", "The Attitude of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Toward the Roman Catholic Hierarchy", "The Attitude of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Toward immigration", "The Obligation of American Citizens to Free Public Schools", "The Practice of Klanishness", "The Ku Klux Klan" (by William Joseph Simmons, founder of the "second wave" of the Klan), and more; Klan "Oath of Allegiance", 3pp. 4to., with all mentions of the word "Klan" oddly censored with asterisks; typed document, "Constitution and Laws of the Klavaliers of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, of the State of Pennsylvania", 5pp 4to., setting forth the rules and organization of the Klan''s secret police and internal investigative units; "Klode Kards", each 2pp. 12mo., bearing the lyrics of Klan anthems; printed pamphlet, 16pp. 8vo., by Imperial Wizard Hiram W. Evans, entitled "The Klan of Tomorrow"; Klan advertising cards, each 1p. oblong 12mo., allowing the bearer admittance to special recruitment meetings; book of ten-dollar donation slips, each emblazoned with the image of a Klansman; "Constitution and Laws of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan", 138pp. 12 mo.; Pennsylvania "Knights of the Ku Klux Klan" business cards, bearing the motto "The old State of Pennsylvania is not what it used to be Since the Ku Klux Klan came to town"; printed pamphlet, 4pp. 8vo., entitled "Educational Studies for the Junior Citizens'' Club ( a Klan auxiliary), on the subject of "America First"; the "Ku Klux Kreed", 1p. 8vo., as recited by the Order of the Women of the Ku Klux Klan; printed newsletter, "Correlated Facts, 4pp. 4to., published by the Research Alliance of Atlanta, Georgia, a Klan-affiliated publishing group, featuring such headlines as "A Jewish Joy Ride", "Planned Immorality" (linking obscene books and films to Communism), "Antidote for Alien Ailment", and "Sedition in Virulent Form"; and more. Some pieces show toning, else very good. The letter originates from the files of John F. Marshall, "Kligrapp" (secretary) of the Altoona Klan.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
