KRIEGSMARINE "U-BOAT" BINOCULARS
Pair of Kriegsmarine binoculars, black, 7 x 50, with rubber fittings at midsection and covering larger ends of optics, marked "beh 447123", finish and markings all very good, still useable but requires cleaning. Strap replaced. With original case with cover, carrying strap lost, hinge and fixing strap broken, Eagle and swastika and letter "M" still visible on top of case. Within the case is a 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" snapshot of a U-boat in a repair facility, location unknown, marked on verso: "German Sub Base April 1946". Obtained from the soldier who recovered the binoculars from this base.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer.
