A rare Knights of the Ku Klux Klan publication, ‘Papers Read at the Meeting of Grand Dragons Knights of the Ku Klux Klan At their First Annual Meeting held at Asheville, North Carolina, July 1923', 136pp. 8vo., bound in paper covers. The booklet reprints numerous articles and speeches presented during this first major gathering of second era Klan leaders, including: ‘Where Do We Go From Here?', by Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Imperial Wizard H. W. Evans; ‘Harmony Between the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan', by the Grand Dragon of Illinois; ‘A Spiritual Interpretation of Klankraft', by the Grand Dragon of Mississippi; ‘The Officers of a Klan and Their Responsibility to Law Enforcement', by a Great Titan of the Real of Texas; ‘Responsibility of Klankraft to the American Boy'; ‘A Tribute and Challenge to American Women'; ‘The Attitude of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Toward the Roman Catholic Hierarchy' and ‘The Attitude of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Toward the Jew', both again by Evans; and more. The cover and front flyleaf bear the black ink ownership stamps of E. Merton Coulter, Confederate apologist and historical revisionist professor at the University of Georgia. Shows an ink label ‘KKK' on the spine, with some tears thereto and some minor soiling to the covers, otherwise in very good condition.

International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
