He was assassinated in 1968 while running for president. Unusual partly-printed D.S. as Attorney General, a paper and string bound certificate, 4pp., 4to., Washington, May 21, 1964, an award given to Robert O. Doyle for "...Thirty years of outstanding and meritorious service in the Department..." With heavy stock covers with the gold Department of Justice emblem at center. Fine condition. $300-400
