Good lot of four pieces signed by figures related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the Kennedy family, includes: JAMES LEAVELLE (1920-2019) I.S.P., 8 x 10 in. b/w, the historic image taken at the moment Jack Ruby shot Oswald. Leavelle inscribed the photo: ‘I was handcuffed to Lee Harvey Oswald when he was shot by Jack Ruby and killed 11/24/63 in Dallas Texas', and signs ‘Homicide Detective James Leavelle', all in silver ink. The photo is additionally signed in silver ink by ROBERT H. JACKSON (b. 1934), the Dallas Times Herald photographer who took the Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph. Slight bumps to the corners, else fine. WITH: CLINT HILL (1932-2025) Secret Service agent who was in the presidential motorcade during the John F. Kennedy assassination. After Kennedy was shot, Hill ran from the car immediately behind the presidential limousine and leapt onto the back of it, holding on while the car raced to Parkland Memorial Hospital. Signature in black ink on a vintage 9.5 x 4.25 in. Kennedy for President Committee Envelope adding the date of the assassination ‘11-22-63', additionally signed by Kennedy's Brother, U.S. Senator TED KENNEDY (1932-2009). Fine. WITH: MILTON WRIGHT (b. 1939) Texas Highway Patrolman who witnessed the assassination as part of Kennedy's motorcade. S.P., 6 x 4 in. color, a still from the Zapruder film showing Jacqueline Kennedy as she climbs out over the trunk of the limousine as her husband lies lifeless beside her. Wright signs across the two Kennedys in black ink. Fine. WITH: CAROLINE KENNEDY (b. 1957) Daughter of President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy who later served as U.S. Ambassador to Japan and Australia. S.P., 10 x 8 in. b/w, a modern print of an image showing President Kennedy in the oval office, playing with his children Caroline and John F. Kennedy, Jr. Kennedy signs at bottom right in black ink. Fine.
